Developmental Stages of a First Year Teacher

Rewind to 2007, a younger bright eyes AJ sat in a Teach For America training session.  That was the first time I saw this chart.  

Fast forward to 2014, after working 8 years as a teacher and administrator, and again I'm confronted with this graph.  

In those dark moments of my first year of teaching in the US, this chart gave me hope of brighter days ahead.
